Microneedling Orlando

Unlock your body’s natural healing process

Microneedling is also called collagen induction therapy. Collagen is a protein that gives structure to your skin and repairs it when it gets damaged. Microneedling works by triggering the body’s collagen production.

I cause micro-injuries to the skin so your body will repair itself!

Young skin has plenty of collagen but it grows less and less as we age. By stimulating collagen production, I can make your skin look young again. You can say goodbye to wrinkles as the fine lines disappear and the skin fills out.

Age is not the only factor!

Sun exposure, hormones, body changes and physical trauma all have a direct impact on the skin. Microneedling encourages your body to repair the damage. It works for stretch marks, wrinkles, acne scars and skin discolouration.

How it works

I use the Skin-pen to perforate our clients’ skin. It is a small handheld device with tiny needles, energized by a radio frequency. The needles make small holes in the skin’s surface. These micro-injuries stimulate the wound healing process while minimizing cellular damage.

The FDA has cleared the SkinPen as a medical device to improve the appearance of facial acne scars. You can read more about why this is important here.

We recommend three to five treatments. This will allow your skin to go through three phases of wound repair.

Phase I: Inflammation

The first phase of the healing process is inflammation. At this stage, your immune system disinfects the wounds and removes debris from your skin. Your blood flow to the area increases and new tissue starts to form.

Phase II: Proliferation

The second phase is the rapid growth of new connective tissue and new blood vessels. The body is rebuilding or filling in the wounded areas.

Phase III: Remodeling

The final phase of the healing process is what makes it all worthwhile. Where there was a wound, there is new skin tissue and blood vessels. Your body replaces the damaged skin with fresh, healthy skin.

The SkinPen® Precision system is used to treat neck wrinkles and facial acne scars. Rx only.
